We do reset mobile when we face problem like slow speed or software related problems. When we reset mobile all data on mobile memory will be deleted and mobile to rest default settings. So before reset your mobile take backup all data on mobile, we can reset mobile via mobile settings simply if there is pattern lock problem then we do that by using key combination in few minutes.
Hard Reset Samsung Glaxy Ace S5830

First cinfirm that mobile battery is full charged
Power off mobile
Press and hold Volume Up + Home Button + Power on together
After 5 seconds release power button only
Select wipe data / delete data
Then select delete all data and reboot mobile
