Important Make sure to back up important data you have on the phone before you perform a factory data reset. To reset the phone 1. Press HOME > MENU, then touch Settings. 2. Scroll down the screen, then touch SD card & phone storage. 3. Navigate to the Internal phone storage section, then touch Factory data reset. 4. Ring 1 has a 1.4K ohm loading to Ground. When talk/play/pause function button is pushed it applies a short across ring 1 and 4. With ring 1 disconnected the Pearl plays via its internal speaker. However with 1 and 4 shorted it continues to play from its internal speaker! Pinout compatibility:
